RaonSecure and KETI Partner on Physical AI and Data Security

2026.05.08

- Joint research on AI-powered document classification to advance data security
- Expanding Agentic AI security linked to physical systems such as robots and drones

(Seoul, May 8, 2026) RaonSecure has partnered with the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) to advance AI security standards and expand the related verification ecosystem.

RaonSecure (Co-CEOs Soonhyung Lee and Junga Lee, 042510), an AI security and authentication platform company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (President Hee-Dong Shin) to collaborate on “AI-based data security and Physical AI convergence security verification and ecosystem development.”

This agreement was established to strengthen AI-driven data security and proactively build integrated security systems optimized for Physical AI environments. Both organizations agreed to create a collaborative model that combines RaonSecure’s AI security and authentication technologies with KETI’s research capabilities, spanning from technology validation to real-world deployment.

As an initial project, the two parties will jointly conduct research on AI-powered automatic classification of document security levels. As AI adoption rapidly increases the volume of enterprise document data, the initiative aims to overcome the limitations of traditional labor-intensive classification systems while improving data security, internal control, and regulatory compliance efficiency.

In this process, the core engine required for data classification will be jointly developed through industry-academia collaboration between RaonSecure and Chung-Ang University. With academic validation supporting the project, the technology is expected to achieve an even higher level of objectivity and reliability.

In the field of Physical AI security, the partnership will focus on advancing security frameworks for AI systems connected to real-world devices such as robots and drones. In particular, the two organizations will jointly verify the security standards and practical implementation approaches necessary for the stable deployment of Agentic AI technologies that control physical systems in industrial environments.

In addition, both parties will apply technical safeguards—including clean room environments and data anonymization—to protect sensitive data used throughout the collaboration process. The partnership also includes building a trusted environment where data-driven AI learning and utilization can take place securely, and further developing it into a practical verification model.

This agreement is meaningful in that it integrates data protection and security controls from the earliest stages of technology development, marking a starting point for establishing the “trust-based infrastructure” required in next-generation industries where AI converges with the physical world.

Through this agreement, RaonSecure is expected to expand business opportunities in the security market evolving from Agentic AI to Physical AI, while accelerating the enhancement of its AI security and authentication platform competitiveness.

KETI will also strengthen its capabilities in security verification and commercialization centered on industrial environments, laying the groundwork for broader application of its research achievements and stronger competitiveness in convergence security technologies.

In addition, both organizations plan to expand the scope of practical collaboration in AI-based data security and gradually establish follow-up models that connect R&D outcomes with industrial deployment and commercialization.

Junga Lee, Co-CEO of RaonSecure, stated, “As AI evolves to directly control real-world systems, security is expanding beyond reactive protection into frameworks that govern AI identity, permissions, and behavior. Through our collaboration with KETI, we will validate next-generation security standards and apply full lifecycle trust infrastructure—from the data domain to Physical AI execution environments—across industrial sites.”

Hee-Dong Shin, President of KETI, said, “As AI moves beyond the virtual world and begins directly engaging in physical environments such as manufacturing, logistics, and disaster response, security becomes directly tied to safety. By combining KETI’s advanced technological capabilities with RaonSecure’s AI security and authentication platform expertise, we aim to establish a global-level convergence security verification ecosystem that enables companies to adopt AI with confidence.”
